Archos has previously revealed that the new device will get all the "functionalities of a premium smartphone" plus its applications whilst Archos' multimedia framework will offer entertainment and web-browsing.

Aww, Hell no!

Please let Google handle the browser! Android is supposed to get flash 10 by the end of the year! DAMN IT!

Great if that is true then we can expect more broken flash and constant crashing...

I've been reporting about that date since http://archosfans.com/2009/06/11/archos ... september/

Android will have the worlds best embedded browsers, like they always do.

I expect not only Opera to work great in the Archos Android device, I also expect Google will port the full Chrome to Android soon, the built-in current version of the webkit based one should be fine and the Firefox Fennec browser will most likely work in Archos Android as well.

Adobe Flash will work fully whenever Adobe releases it.

Charbax I hope your right brother. Flash 10, a more efficient OS, and the openness of Android are the reasons I would buy the Archos Android. I am extremely excited to find out how the Archos Android turns out, I just hope Archos takes this chance to make the amazing device that the Archos Android could easily be.
