Hi

I have dropped my IMT G6 while in the process of uploading some movies to it, the disk now clicks repeatedly and is not recognised by my PC.

I have been reading for the last few days and I can see plenty of tutorials on how to downgrade the firmware but all these guides assume the disk is ok and you can copy a new AOS file to it.

My question is ... can I use a new disk (have a spare SSD) and change the firmware on the IMT from the new disk ?
The IMT was not hacked before I dropped it, I would be happy if I could just get it up and running for my holiday this coming Saturday

Everything I have tried so far has failed and any advice or pointers to tutorials/guides would be appreciated

TIA
