Hi all,

This has probably been asked many times before but I'll ask again to be sure :-)

Having been bought an Archos 7 IMT a couple of years ago (the 320GB version) it's still goign strong, but does anyone know if there is a way of adding Android to this so that it can be used as an e-reader (ie. Amazon Kindle), or is the machine so locked down it can't be done?
If it can what are the risks involved and does anyone have any info on how this has worked if it is possible?

Cheers all

As far as I'm aware... NO!
I believe there was a "developer" firmware going on but with another OS (not Android) and it wasn't very good. But good news is that their new offerings are cheap enough and you can get one of those. I think you can fetch a lot of dollars for your Archos 7 (due to the great storage option not many PMPs have) and with that $$$ you can buy an Android one if that's your thing.

Good luck! ;)
