I have got a Archos 5. Had it just over a week now and i love it. But one thing that annoys me is all the extras available to buy. I would like some games but you have to pay for each pack and not many of the games look that appealing and they don't seem to provide even one free game.

I was wondering if it is possible to download any free games to play on the Archos even without the internet?

Any help will be very appreciated. Thank you.

I managed to work out the password.

Some of the games are a bit weird, and some don't seem to support the touch screen but i have just deleted those few.

Now if someone can just tell me how to get the plug-ins for free i'll be very happy :lol: :lol:

Yesterday i purchased a multipack for a decent price and received them today so i am happy with that.

Now i am just looking the digital tv snap on device, but i can't find much info on that. Is that even out yet?

The tv unit has been scrapped by archos I called and waited for 40 minutes to ask about my helment cam that didntwork right and also asked about the tv unit. They told me the has been scrapped for the usa market. Kinda false advertisment on archos's end. I feel robbed.

PS: If anyone knows of any other working games for the archos 5 please give me a shout, i would really like to try them out.

Archos should at least enable a 7 day trail version of the games that's activated when the A5 is registered.

Any decent chess games out there for the 5/7

Ok, so I installed the Games pack v1.0 Beta.zip from the link provided and now I get static coming from the Archos that I have never had before. When I play a movie I do not hear it or when I play anything else I still don't hear it. Now I just hear a loud buzzing when the Archos is just sitting idle, not doing anything. I can turn the volume up and down and it does not make a difference. Any help would be appreciated. I would hate to unistall everything because I like some of the games.

hi there downloaded the threads for the free games listed above-got em no prob but---seems like a silly question but how do i put em on the archos 7?? i mean i normally use windows media player??
