It's good to see that Archos are concentrating on fixing the five, instead of adding to it (If you know what I mean!)

It upconverts standard def videos without the Highdef plugin when you connect it to the docking station and hook it up through hdmi.

What a boring update was expecting HD playback by now ,why so long ??????

I sent my Archos5-120 in for this problem and it was sent back no problem found. I just sent in my A5 with my DVR station hoping they can figuire out where the issue is.

Would you rather Archos fix current bugs or add new features? Don't know why people are so bothered about the way they play there movies, aslong as there DVD rips they should still look good.

In a way I agree with you except the fact that it is not a new feature it is a promised feature so people have the right to expect it to be in a update, after all it has been 3 months since the 5 has been released.

doesn't matter on the Archos screen, but for those wanting to output to an HDTV would be nice.
