A lot of archos's new players run on this chipset so I thought I'd let you guys know.

Big note is that: "The software is in Chinese and runs only on Windows XP, but allows you to flash any .img files and perform maintenance on the firmwares of the device. The apad on Slatedroid is based on the same Rockchip platform as the Archos 7 HT. "

I know you guys can already root it but hey, this might be useful someday.

Yup, there's already been a lot of activity around this on the A7 HT sub-forum. And no, they haven't got root yet, I believe.
