I managed to break the connection on the USB cable into my a5, causing me issues. Im not confortable assuming from diagrams that i have found im simply asking for a picture of the propietary usb cable end. This is in the box end that plugs directly into the A5.
I have found this image

but what i really need is the opposite side where the actual soldering is done. Thanks for help and sorry if this has been discussed before but i couldnt find it after 2 days ill just Ask!

The picture shows the soldering, it's called surface mount. I think the cable is the only thing soldered on the backside.

I thought it looked looked kind of odd, ie. not enough enough pins... The gen 6 has 30 pins

Re: A5 IMT USB cable pinout
Ok... Well that was the only photo that looked like what i have. Admittedly I didnt look at it as close as maybe i should have.
So Lets try again
i am looking for someone who has a Gen6 Archos 5 IMT, to open the box on the end of the USB cable and either snap a photo or list the order of the colors of the wires.
As reference this is the device i have

If someone has this Archos USB Cable, a fairly small Phillips Screw drive, and a few minutes of time I would be thankful for the help.
