What kind of widgets would you like to be made or optimized?

I voted Google maps. Mainly because im going to the USA for a year next year and having that on my pmp would be VERY handy.

In fact, screw next year, I still dont know half the places where i live now!

If they did implement it though, I would prefer it to be offline. That would make it truly useful.

Yup if Archos and Opera can add a very smart implementation og Google Gears http://gears.google.com/ , then I think it should be possible to load some Google Maps information for example and save it automatically so it can be consultet offline also. And the same for Gmail, Google Docs and for saving and synching IM conversations.

I would also love to see an IM app/widget of some sort. Personally dont care about google maps because someone gave me a gps as a gift, and another LG gps was free with a new fridge I got, and on top of that there is gps in the car already. LoL.

btw. just discovered you can do caps lock on 605 if you press Alt and then the upper case key, it stays on CAPS. ;)

but dont use it on forums it gets annoying...

I would prefer some offline widgets like a decent e-book reader (The pdf reader is way to slow.) a simple notepad (that can save and load from the harddisk).

How about a Cover Flow cover art type navigation interface for music?

(Like on iPod Touch / iTunes / WMP etc)

In the words of Top Gear - How difficult can it possibly be? ;)

The Archos wouldnt be able to cope with the system requirements of a bittorrent client - it requires at least a 500MHz processor and 60MB of ram to run.... would be very nice though eh?

I personally would like to see a paint app similar to this DS program http://www.collectingsmiles.com/colors/

Check out the gallery to see what it's capable of. I wonder if the 605 is capable of pressure sensitivity...

I would love to see the Plucker e-book reader available on Palm PDAs implemented. It would also be wonderful to be able to synchronize a calender and contact list with a desktop computer.

GPS

Now there's a feature which would REALLY make the price of the 605 wifi justifiable....

Google Docs so that you could work anywhere without carrying around a huge laptop. E-books would also be pretty nice to have.
