Hi,

1- I already own a Twenty20 helmet cam and I'm wondering if it works with the flash base archos 405 and the dvr travel kit. I can't find the answer on any web site!?!

2- I'm planning on biking with it. Do you think a hard drive base archos can support the shock?

3- Or do you think I should change for the helmet cam from archos? Is it good?

Your inputs will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

You're absolutely right... Forgot to post the spec:

Here is the web site:
http://www.twenty20camera.com/helmetcamera.php

Here you can find a list with compatible camcorder and PVR:
http://www.twenty20camera.com/recorders.php
This list include older models of Archos like AV500 and AV700

Spec page:
http://www.twenty20camera.com/product_specs.php

Thank you again for your help!

Somone would have to look at the polarity (not all AV cables have their video aduio and ground in the same order)but if it's not the same you would need the portable DVR, plus a http://www.pl-259.com/page3.html plus a standard camcorder cable, plus 3 double female http://www.audiooutfitter.com/store/77382/SGBRCAS.html hooked up to the standard archos DVr cable. Yes its allot, I know.

I have the gen 5 archos helmet cam and the quality is poor for the price. In good light you can get reasonable pictures but at dusk or worse the quality plummets. Convenient kit? Yes. Quality or value for money? No.

True 'nuff,
Gen4 helmet cam is poor quality too. I bought a micro CMOS board cam, hacked up the wiring from a gen4 Archos cam and connected the wire set to the board cam. The 5VDC line powers the CMOS cam fine. I'm mounting the CMOS cam inside of a helmet with pin hole for now but have other cool ideas for this.
