Hi,

I recently purchased a brand new Archos 405 from one of the closing Ritz Camera locations without doing any research....

Found out that none of the plugins that make this device useful are available for purchase anymore anywhere....

Decided to at least use it as a simple DVR to record TV shows but even that is not possible because I do not have the
ArchosLink software to activate the DVR function when pugged into the DVR dock.... I know that the TV Guide is no
longer available, all I want is to tell the device to pass to the next screen where I could press "Record"

I registered my 405 on Archos web site and requested help numerous times without any luck.....

Please, if you do have the ArchosLink software on your computer, please let me know how I may be able to get the installer
from you and make my 405 semi-useful at least....

None of the links I found on the web worked... I looked pretty much everywhere...

Thanks in advance...

No one has ArchosLink software anymore?

Although it was a free download, I am willing to pay $5.00 via PayPal for it.... Anyone, please???

Don't lose hope with this request. The 405 is quite old and this topic does not get a lot of activity anymore. People do pop in occasionally though but it could takes several weeks, if at all. Good luck.
