I was talking to AndyW Sunday and we both agreed that a 605wifi FAQ is needed. We are both pretty busy in the next few weeks and with the upcoming release of the larger capacity models I thought with the help of the devoted Archosfan membership, we could get this done rather quickly.
So if you can help with either idea #1 or idea #2, Just follow the instructions in the examples provided and I can gather all our thoughts together in one neat list.
I thought, how could we get the most important questions answered with the most useful responses?.
Simple! go to those people who have asked them and were satisfied with the replies.
So if you have ased a question in the past and were thankful for the response, please help me by sending me a reply in this thread with the following information like in the quote below:
1- Your Question Asked
2- The link or links to the thread that answered your question.
I will then transfer it out of this thread and arrange it into the 605WF thread in a more logical order
Like the Example BelowWhat is inside the Battery Dock?
Ok, onto idea #2
If you haven't asked a question before, but still want to help, I know most of you read this forum daily and have much information to offer. I have written a few example questions below that may have been asked many times before. If you have a spare few minutes each day, if you could pick just one and search out the thread where it was answered, You would be a HUGE help! and listed as contributors
Like the Example BelowI am getting the following error when trying to purchase a plugin for my 605 :"product key is not a correct value for parameter"
The answers can even come from the 604wifi category as lots of that info is relevant to the 605.Also be aware that you can ask and answer your own questions if you think they are important and not listed. It will be added in as a question and answer with no link attached. I actually hope to write an FAQ in this form in the future so users don't have to sift through the whole thread for the answer, but for now I think it is important to just accumulate the list of links for reference in the future
